That really is just personal preference, whatever feels good is fine. So far my faith/str build has 2 offensive abilities and the rest are support. Might swap to power stance those 2 colossal blades and try that out but so far the long swords do insane damage if they not resistant to holy.

Try other leg? Once that ankle armor shatters you do way more damage.

Straight sword, there are a few. Sword of Night and Flame and Regalia of Eochaid, flails are fast as well you got Family Heads flail, any slower but not by any means slow curved swords, Wing of Astel. Oh and katanas like the moonveil.

Beast-Repellent Torch. It works! Makes dogs, rats, smaller monstrosity passive unless you attack them. Just have to have it out.

Ha, meta was basically any straight sword but there was a ton of other builds that shined. Elden ring builds are going to be insane with all the art of war combos but so far that L2 turns you in a boss fight, nothing else I have seen comes close.

The L2 on that bleed sword is a PvP killer, I don't see how that stays in the game as is and not ruin every thing. I guess get good at dodging it and backstab punish but it is a true combo and the amount of HP damage it does will outright kill anyone under 50 VIT.

Just looked up where the somber dragon stone area to get +10 weapons, they were literally down a path I didn't completely explore or missed. 100s of times I said I wonder what is down there then the area took me so far away I forgot about it...turns out that is where all the good stuff is. :)

I didn’t but what I should have done is from where you are to: South down main road just east of start, then hard NW, then hard southwest, then lift in north mistywoods.

You nailed it, the quests give just enough information to find the next spot. Been talking to this lady I saved and she has a visible issue. Found and item and it clicked, oh yeah that lady go talk to her again, quest progression! I am beyond stoked to find out where my choices lead.

Try running jumping r2 the tracking on them is broken, you never miss including when you jump past them you 180 in a frame and slam down on anything in range.
