Remember if you want to join the squad you need to accept the game invite I send you, I can only invite people who are in the same session. I jumped up to HR37 after doing that quest, didn't get another one yet. I need to farm Teostra anyway.

Haha yep, that was me :) If you're lucky enough to get my Palico in your game, he will put enemies to sleep to give you a chance to reset the fight, it's super useful

Did you get a follow on quest after killing Xeno'jiva? I got a quest to kill 2 of those tempered bomb dropping mofos at once. A story quest that is.

and I'm done. When you finish the game, your HR shoots up, I went from 15 to 29. Content just continues on as well. Last boss has SO MUCH HP I almost ran out of time killing him. Getting the unblockable moves = blockable skill was critical in finishing him off. Fricken laser beams everywhere.

I have you on my friendlist on PSN, I just need to invite you to the same session to get you into the squad. Once you beat the final Zorah mission he shows up now and then as an optional quest and you can do it again. Nergigante is farmable, so I imagine the final boss is too.

Sleep weapon for your cat is amazing. Perfect chance to heal up, drop barrels, sharpen your weapon, then hit him with your strongest ability.

Last boss and his unblockable oneshots can suck my nuts. Have to upgrade to the set that makes unblockable stuff blockable before I give him another show.

For weapons, click Upgrade, not Forge, there's a giant tree of weapons to choose from No you don't have to fail and re-get, you can just use your own pit/shock traps. they are easy to craft. Don't use your bombs until the monster is either limping or runs away and falls asleep. Then use a trap...

I'm not thrilled with the idea of DBZ style power levels being brought into the series, it worked fine without them. Plus the pig is an annoying character, I would be fine with him being removed. The season has been good so far though.

I feed my 4k monitor into my line in slot on my computer so I can have PS4 and PC sound through the same headphones. You can block damn near everything, although super powerful attacks will bleed through and eat a lot of your energy.

Can't you just repeat quests? I remember farming Anjanath by going back to optional quests I had already completed and doing them again. I'm sure there's an optional quest for Tobi.

Go up to the Gathering place and there's a special arena there with timed quests, and you don't get to choose your gear, you have to choose from presets selected for you.

Does anyone know how to get more decorations? I can't seem to find where to pick them up

Just keep following the main story, they will all unlock in due time. You can't force weapon upgrades in this game. You can only farm for what's already revealed.

There's two different skills. One affects explosive weapons, the other one affects cannons and ballista. Artillery skill is made for the Gun Lance, since it uses both explosive shells and has the Wyvern Fire skill. I use a level 2 in my Gun Lance.

The first monster I had any trouble with at all was Kirin (which seems immune to capture) and the monster I'm battling now, which is the Pink Rathian.

Is he hitting you with fire attacks and your armor has negative fire resists?

Hit the map button, move to the bottom left, maunully select the ??? as the ones you want your flies to track.

You should capture every monster you can. You can get as much as 20 parts for capturing, carving is for chumps.

They are, by 20 hours in you have only seen 1/3rd

Just killed my first Elder Dragon, looks like they are immune to trapping/catching which was a bit annoying.

Starting to get there! I even got my Palico into a space suit.

As long as you see the monsters cutscene, after that you can do it together
