Yeah doing the 3 Brutal Chadley challenges that you can unlock even on first playthrough lets you level up the party to 70 (or near it) extremely quickly. Went from like 49 at start of Chapter 13 to 70 in a couple hours of clearing those.

That's pretty much how I beat last couple. Obviously I was still using units that were effective against certain elements/flyers, but making units cost less let me spam more to load as much damage on boss as I could to beat the timer. Good use of special abilities is important, too.

I kinda of feel like Seattle affects stats a bit, although I haven't watched them much this season. Last year seemed poor defensively while focusing on offense. Pumped up point totals for some forwards but always seemed to be giving up a lot of chances.
