I hope it's just a down year for Grubby. Always liked him when he was here, felt like he got a bit of a raw deal with Colorado, too, where they weren't ready to win it all yet.
It's hilarious, when Keumper plays, we basically lose by 4 or 5, when Lindgren plays, 8 out of 10 games will be 6 one goal wins, 2 one goal losses...and 2 other 3-4 goal losses.
And yet the rage the other day was rumor that we were going to take McCarthy at #2. Daniels does seem the favorite around mock drafters, but who the heck knows at this point.
Right into that $65M a year contract that will handicap the Cowboys for years to come while guys like Love, Mayfield, Purdy, and Hurts continue to beat him in the postseason.
Just figure as asset management you'd try to get something for him rather than not even qualifying offer him and letting him walk. But the pure tank was important, I know.
Yeah I think no surprise kicks and none before the 4th (although if you're not doing a surprise one, I guess you'd never really do it before the 4th) just makes it boring af. Might as well just go with that "if they can convert a 4th and 15, they get the ball back" rule some team tried to put...
Kinda sucks we let Detroit grab a point, but I'll take the win! Can't believe Chicago let Strome go for nothing, he's been so huge for us. Stupid Rags letting Philly get a point.
Was a good game, if a bit slow in its original version. I always felt like Zidane's somewhat battle with his identity was a little too similar to Cloud's identity crisis, and not done as well. They're not brought on by the same things at all, obviously, but I remember thinking about it when I...
Some would be more aptly called minibosses rather than actual bosses. Also some portions of the game are going to be more boss rushy than others. In general if I spent 4 hours of a 40 hour game in an area, I'd say 10% of the game, I wouldn't be counting how many "boss encounters" I had in each...
I was thinking more just hours of gameplay. Seems arbitrary to do just bosses.
Even better was all the weird people out there convinced that "every part of the game would be extended out in the Remake because they extended the first 10% (Midgar) into a full part"...as if Midgar wasn't an...
I think it was meant as the story so far as in Remake+Rebirth combined. At least that was my read.
Honestly Remake isn't even 30% of the OG, more like 15-20%, tops?
The combat if anything is a little more differentiated from turn based than Remake's was. More bells and whistles. If you didn't enjoy combat in Remake I'm not sure you will in Rebirth. The game is pretty amazing, though, and if you get a grasp on the combat it can be a lot of fun trying out...
He 100% will be playing it haha. It's funny there were a lot of people claiming August/September release. Damn just 3 months out, really. Train keeps on rolling.
Yeah that was reckless by Wilson. Obviously didn't seem like he was trying to crack the guy right in the face, but gotta always be in control of your stick and with his history, is what it is.
Yeah I figure it's going to be emotional for Kuzy. I hope the crowd gives him a nice welcome. He sounds in a much better spot head wise. Going to be some sick goals in the video clip.
ironically, for all the tackles guys miss or let players free after some contact if a D player just lifted a guy in the air, his forward progress would stop.
Hope OT v Philly tired out Carolina for us tomorrow night. Not the best results for us tonight, but at least Detroit/Isles wasn't a 3 point game. Need a win tomorrow to get back within striking distance of both you all and Philly. Last game of the year for us is v Philly I noticed...might end...
Yeah he was always kind of aloof and shitty, even in the OG. He still does it here, too, but there are more parts where he isn't (granted, a lot more dialogue in general).
I used to agree with this take, when it was about a skate blade being millimeters off the ice or not, because really if your leg was still over the blue line, who cares whether the skate blade was touching the ice or not, your body can only be so far ahead of it. Now that they fixed it to just...
Shitty game tonight, way too many turnovers/breakdowns that led to easy goals for Leafs. Couple bad bounces, too. We have tough games galore coming, up, too. Fucking Columbus.
I feel like the second word got around China or Russia was trying something like that, both sides would be like "nope, timeout until we handle this shit, then back to the war". But maybe I'm crazy.
Yeah I think orlov being there was a really big factor in the move to trade him there. It's good for him, should give him a nice environment to play in. I wish him all the success, only I don't want you guys to even get to the Finals (screw Pitt out of that potential 1st for Guentzel).
Yup, this is the exact strat I pretty much beat everything with through most of the game. Really only later on when players have multiple replacement cards with a lot of power to them or some of the more specialized challenges that I've needed to tweak anything. Does take a little setup with...
