A few friends and I are gonna try out the caster comp: Shadowknight, Fury, Troubador, Wiz/Lock, Conj/Necro, and Illy. If it's "pick an expack to be in" instead of true TLP, then we'll probably play EoF or RoK. I loved RoK because of the epic weapon quests, but leveling 70-80 took soooo long.

But leveling sucks. =(

PLDs have a much easier time than WAR. WAR needs to be very mindful of their cooldowns and the healer's cooldowns.

Hopefully we'll be able to earn AA EXP as well. I'm fine with not being able to spend any of it until they unlock KoS, but it would be nice to be able to start earning it right away.

BLM has so many tools, though, like Aetherial Manipulation, Manaward, and Manawall. The only way to not do close to maximum DPS on a fight as a BLM is to just not click those abilities.

You're forgetting about the new WAR ability that gives them 100% parry from the front but makes them take crit damage from the sides.

I don't think Awareness will be useful for DRK, but it will probably be required for WAR.

Our peak range is generally 6pm - 1am PDT. We always have people on since it's summer right now and we also have quite a few NEETs.

They're decent in the Arena, but I haven't seen them actually go out into the world and fight people since Alpha, and back then they were as strong as anyone else in Wicked. So maybe they're still good, I don't know.
