I awakened on my Rogue today, and the Silver Moon awakening ability is garbage. Complete and utter trash. It does about 16k damage per-target on a three minute cooldown. Conversely, my Hurricane attack on an 8 second cooldown does 37k damage per-target. The stacking buffs don't even work...

Only three Ayanad designs dropped during the entirety of the time the Alpha server was up. The drop rates on those have always been awful.

It's an epic quest, so you have to do it, otherwise you won't be able to unlock any of the quests that come after it. The capsule is used for the next quest, you open it and have a chance of getting the quest update. If you don't get the update... you have to do the quest for the capsule again...

Honestly... when levelling up my second class, I found FATEs to be faster than dungeons once I hit level 30, and that was with instant queues as a WAR.

Castle sieges were more balanced in Alpha. Several castles changed hands. There was no level 55 and it was before the Battlerage, Shadowplay, and HP changes that was supposed to increase TtK but in fact made everyone die a lot faster.

Have you played Bravely Default? It's a better FF than most FF games. Since SE has that IP now, they probably want to transition FF to more action-based combat. Otherwise, they'd be triple-dipping the turn-based JRPG genre. (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Bravely Default.)
