Wooden cutting boards are breeding grounds for all sorts of nasty shit, not to mention the cross-contamination that occurs by using the same board to cut everything. Use plastic. You can buy lots of them and sterilize them in the dishwasher.

Before you do any cutting, get a roll of painter's plastic and seal that room off. Cover doorways, walls windows, in fact, cover everything with a layer of plastic. You're going to make a lot of very fine dust and you need to confine it. Get a respirator, too, not just one of those paper mask...

    The Animated GIF Thread

For the same reason we have HOV lanes; to encourage people to stop causing gridlock by riding one-up in a car. Put 2 or 3 people in a car and you get to go to the front of the line in the HOV lane. Buy a bike and create less pollution and congestion per person, and you can go to the front of the...

It is legal but I never did it when I lived in CA because some people, like the guy in that vid, just can't stand the idea of you moving while he's stuck going nowhere in traffic.

is there such thing as an air conditioner that doesn't need to vent?

Yeah, because right now the outside humidity is 6%. Inside with the swamp cooler running it's 65% and 20 degrees cooler. The furniture, the doors, my skin, my instruments, etc are all happier.

I would think you could get a whole Bowflex machine off Craigslist for the price of a set of those dumbbells, but maybe those machines aren't any good at any price. I really don't know much about them except that I've seen various used ones for sale.

    Justified (Season 5 - Jan 7th)

So Art is pissed at Raylan for being complacent in the death of Nicki Augustine but when Raylan does basically the same thing with regards to Daryl, he gets a "thanks" from Art. I understand we're talking about offing someone that tried to kill Art, but still, if Art were in character he would...

The problem you're going to have, the same problem I have, is that in a couple of months, it's going to be too hot and there is going to be too much sun. Pick a heat tolerant variety and try to figure out how to keep them in the shade part of the day. My garden gets 9-10 hours of very hot sun...
