You can break the FTE lock trivially, all it takes it basically getting on the mobs aggro list via healing/buffing whoever has the initial lock. For regular ass XP mobs and stuff usually it takes long enough that whoever tagged it first will have enough damage in already to win the resulting DPS...

You're overthinking it. There were never any real plans for PvE - Overwatch was a dead game in Blizzards eyes, and OW2 was the easiest way to "revive" it, IE get the microtransactions flowing again.

I think reap scaling is good enough these days to cover the damage, but I'll need to make a +2 at least cloak of flames before giving it a shot. I kinda wanna just try out blade vortex a bit too and see how good the clear/explosions can be with just asenaths + herald of ash
