I jumped down with a bunch of souls, and then the only thing I got was that faith weapon, then promptly died. Needless to say I was salty as fuck that I lost those souls for no reason since I'm not a faith build really. That NPC is a fucker, too. Tried to kill him ~10 times to get my souls back...
