Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Technically it was just the one patch (5.3 I believe) that was delayed 3-4 months. Thus everything after that is coming out 3-4 months later than it otherwise would have. But the length of content since 5.3 came out has been back to normal basically. If this was Blizzard, it would be twice...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

The slow global really kills is. It feels crisp as far as responsiveness, but 2.5 second global is a real turn off to a lot of potential WoW converts. I play Bard on 14, so I'm pretty much weaving off globals all the time and it's not that bad, but I know some classes it just plays a lot slower.

I don't know how you would stop before Shadowbringers, easily the best expansion.

NHL 2021 Irregular Season and Plagueoffs

If Ovechkin didn't lead the playoffs in goals, I think Kuzy might have had a shot at the Conn Smythe. Wasn't like when Kessel was pretty much robbed of the Conn Smythe by Crosby during one of the Penguins back to back runs.

NHL 2021 Irregular Season and Plagueoffs

Crazy to me Kuzy even qualifies for that "older player" but compared to Eichel I guess it fits. Not like he's old, though. Again, it would have to be plus another player with a contract to make the money work, I don't know how you list it as just Kuzy plus picks. Eichel costs $2.2M more a...

NHL 2021 Irregular Season and Plagueoffs

Hence the other contract to make the cap space working out...and "couple of picks" is pretty vague. It would clearly have to be multiple 1sts (maybe up to 3) with more. Then again, if Eichel wants out, that's a $10M contract that for all his potential talent everyone around the league is going...

I mean we'd have to shed cap to make that work unless they retain salary (which I doubt they would with how many years are left on his deal). Plus all the high draft picks we'd have to send them. I'm a little more bullish on our chances than you are, but that shouldn't be a surprise. That...

8-9 to 10-7. Somewhere in that range. But yeah, 4 out of last 5 are divisional. Eagles last 4 are all in the division. I assume the Giants are similar then.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

Even more amusing than normal b/c I look at the end of the schedule and think if we even manage to go 6-6 through the first 12 games that really weak final stretch of games could make it doable for us

I mentioned this on a Caps blog today that was talking about trying to trade Kuzy for him. At this point they may just have to do the full tear down like you mention. It absolutely sucks to admit that's what they have to do, but it might just be what needs to happen.

I'm actually freaked out by that Josh Gordon season now. The Browns leading rusher that year was Willis McGahee with 377 yards. I will say Jordan Cameron actually had a solid fucking year as their TE with 80 catches for 917 yards that year. But none of their other WR even hit 500 yards...

I just think it undersells the amount of training/effort they put in to say they just are "going to the gym". If everyone did what they did at the gym, obesity wouldn't be the thing it is in this country. Not to mention the absolute high level of competition/skill they perform their actual...

And it doesn't sound like Tebow is going to be making millions, unless he has some crazy performance bonuses. I will say I never get the whole "make millions to play a game" argument. Sure if you boil it down, football is a game, but it's also a stone cold lock majority of NFL players work...

I think Titans and Colts fight it out for 1st, and maybe both fight for playoff spots (AFC going to be a battle even with a 3rd wild card), Jax 3rd (but not great), and Houston 4th in total shit show.

What's a run away success? They're not making the playoffs, likely not even going to seriously flirt with .500. They're not picking 1st in the draft next year, though.

Depends if it's a "guarantee" he makes the roster or not. Plenty of teams are signing random vets/etc as camp bodies. No idea how much of his contract is guaranteed but that low a salary might mean there's no expectation for him to definitely make the roster unless he actually performs.

A little over $700k for base salary. Sounds like real cheap hope signing throwing shit at the wall to see who can stick at TE for them.

I honestly don't know who to favor in any division except Toronto in the North. The other 3 just seem like at least 2 teams could come out of any of them. Nobody would shock me in the East if any of them got hot.

If Kuznetsov really is on the chopping block for us, or even if we're just listening to trade offers, I wonder if our GM calls up Buffalo about Eichel this offseason. A whole heck of a lot of other pieces/salary would have to be a part of it but interesting thought.

Smith is their only real impact UFA, though. Obviously some RFA guys are going to get raises but key guys like Fox is still on his ELC another year, same with Kakko. Laf and Miller both still have 2 more years on ELC's. It's possible some of it was to keep bonuses to Laf and Kakko down...

I definitely think there is a line, though, where it's laughable some young guys aren't getting more minutes over some clear bottom 6 at best vets. Obviously team situation matters a lot. The Rangers for instance have time to bring guys along a little slower. Maybe not next year if they...

Wahlstrom was exactly who I was going to bring up. I've seen a lot of their fans not happy with the trade they made with the Devils because it ended up pushing Wahlstrom out of the lineup right when he was heating up. Trotz got a lot of shit for it here in Washington, too, when he would...

Obviously you're exaggerating a bit, but I was surprised to see that Jackson was something like 6th or 7th in average depth of target. For reference, Jackson completed 64.4% of his passes last year with an average intended air yards per attempt of 8.6. Alex Smith had a 66.7% completion % but...
