Well - I will be rolling a warrior, so if we happen to line up during the first few days I am definitely into leveling. I am going to play it by ear whether I take the entire first week off, or if I will take a few days the first and a few the second. I may take Tuesday/Wednesday off, work...

Wonder if they'll have that weird legendary amulet dropping for a few weeks or not. If I remember right it had an innate damage shield component?

I suppose I could take 2 days off each week, or 2-3 days each week so that we can all ride together for the first few days. We'll see once we get closer and have a better plan.

I would be down to plan out a few days to try and bang out dungeon quests along the way. Will be DPS war, so all depends on if we have a healer that's leveling at the same pace.

Still trying to decide if I wanna take time off week one or week two. I can level and play at work week one, and not stress about the masses of people and then week two take off and grind it out

Yeah I am very excited for this, just wish it were sooner. I may have one or two RL buddies rolling with me as well, not sure how hardcore or even interested in raiding they will be. Time will tell.

I can help with officer / managerial duties. I have access to a computer from work all day long. I’m just not sure how much I’ll actually be able to play after I get to cap beyond raiding. I can still help through discord/text/whatever while not being in game.

Rogues shouldn't be having an issue as they can vanish to wipe aggro. Warriors and Mages sure.

I'm pretty indifferent. If I have to go Human and use swords/maces instead of going orc to go axes its a wash. Edit: It does mean pre raid BIS has to be farmed instead of just bought with rang rang gold.

Thinking of going mining and alchemy for arcanite as was said above. But I may end up doing alchemy and engineering and just paying for mats.

I am happy with horde, can wait a week or two for people to catch up if need be. I imagine those of us who go to 60 quickly will take the time to get as much pre raid bis as possible, and the people who hit 60 later won’t need to because the core who leveled quicker will have the gear to carry...

Further - those of you who are in beta, are mods working alright? Has blizz commented on if mods that work in beta will work once it releases?

My laptop is from last year, it's nothing crazy but it's a Lenovo gaming laptop. I don't need it to be on tip top graphics, just want it to run decently and not hang up in the chaos of AoEs.

I dug up my old account, and checked the box for beta because why the hell not. If nothing else I will get my mods situated and ready to go for day one. I read that it releases 8/27, but someone said it actually releases the 26th in the US... any idea why?

Anyone know if there's any incentive to using an older account when subbing for Classic? I guess I would have to track mine down.

Yeah we did these a lot on ED until it wasn't worth going for Ironfoe anymore. These conversations are getting me too ready for this three months in advance. Gonna start planning my leveling path soon more than likely. Will likely play from work since that will be the beginning of the slow season.
