I don't think that's a problem. This server seems like something built from the ground up to encourage intermittent play over a year, rather than something that dedicated players stick with until they move on semi-permanently.

I dunno. I've been on team "I bet it's strategically sound flood Gaza tunnels". Even if they don't drown anyone the destruction of the tunnels probably does something. I imagine because they aren't doing it in large scale means it doesn't make sense to meet their objectives.

Ender's Game starts fun. It's been a while but I wouldn't call it litrpg or even progression rpg. I'd say the first book is a military young adult science fiction book and the rest are the "weird metaphysical science fiction" genre.

I think as I get older I'm becoming the opposite. I couldn't give a shit about the story in the slightest and just want to kill things. In the latest EQ expansion I enjoyed doing the hunter achievements (involving spawning rare mobs in a zone and killing them) way more than the questlines.

I'm surprised they haven't handled this by having something like a premade bracket where you are rewarded for having a high ELO score and an unranked PUG bracket that doesn't allow for full premades but gives you modest rewards for each win and moderate rewards for winning.
