Loved the movie. I thought the 3D added nothing and wish I'd saved the $ and watched in 2D. Great mix of hollywood and the book. I did like the last scene in the book. Laughed my ass off in fact. I wish it was in the movie but maybe it will make the Blu-Ray. I'll be buying this when it comes out...

Finders Keepers is the second novel with the protagonist from Mr. Mercedes. It's pretty good and worth the read...er listen. If you liked Mr. Mercedes you will like this one.

I just finished Old Man's War and The Ghost Brigades both by John Scalzi, pretty decent. Easy reading sci-fi. There are 4 main books and several short stories in the same universe. I'm taking time to read the new Lee Child (Make me) & The 2 Abercrombie shorts then finishing the series. Also...

Just finished Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. I love space in general and the ISS specifically so I INHALED the beginning of the book. The end sort of petered out but the first 2/3 of the book is some of his best writing yet.

This book reminded me of the 'Good Old King' , pre sobriety. I believe a lot of the AA parts were not fiction. Unlike a lot of King books I thought it ended well and with an actual ending. Good read.
