Finished the game, well the first run. apparently you need to finish it 3 times to really finish it. Fun side note, it seems after the 3rd ending they open up a new shop and you can buy the achievements with in game cash. Yes you can buy the plat... top acheive costs $200k, but you can save...

FYI, super hard level cap at lvl 50 , lots of skill points with no place to put them. All exp is just wasted at that point.

Nier is very very Japanese. But i am enjoying the combat.

Only about 2 hours in, it's a super weird game, I have no idea what's going on, no idea how to add pods and pegs (mods to your android that work like skills) The UI and map are horrible (or I am missing something) The combat is very interesting and I am digging the melee part si far. I did not...

How is Nier connected to the Drakengard series? i am a bit confused on that. I read someone that Nier is like a sequel to the first Drakengard which does not make a lot of sense to me.

I went with normal becouse I did not like that the harder difficulty reduces your abilities, ie no target lock on hard mode.

Finished the game, completed all side quests but one, cleared all camps, have all collectables. But you think I can find a fucking raccoon? Nope, still cant max out my bags. If you see a raccoon in this game, Drop everything you are doing and focus on that critter.

Completed. Great game....Kept me from playing Zelda which was surprising. Final actual fight was Meh, but the story delivered. Not sure if i will do the plat....or at least will wait on a Data point collection guide. The second one will be a day one purchase.

Get the skill that lets you swap mods. Load up on your purple gear as it's the best you can get. Switching you 44+ damage or fire mods mid fight is op. Also resist gear is amazing while modded. You can swap gear mid fight, do it!

I got this game for Christmas, I know nothing about it other than it is all multiplayer. I normal suck at fps/arena games, Is there any basic tips that would help a true noob? What is the best resource to learn about this game? My goal is to not be a liability to my team....
