How do you get back soldiers that get captured? It keeps saying you can recover them somehow, but I've never seen a mission or covert op to do so?

Short answer? Yes, it's that bad. It has the depth of an above ground pool is most of the problem. Mechanical skill ceiling is low, very limited defense options, stubby normals combined with crush counters that do ~40% damage all leads to very guess-oriented gameplay at the top end.

Hotfix appears to be legit. Just did an entire rain match without going below 90fps on a 980ti. No lag at all either. Looting is lightning fast now.
