And if there was a mode that you had to simultaneously build defenses against some bug creatures or adversaries I'd probably love it. I dunno, never played factorio that has bugs.

I think other than designing cool looking super-structures I'd be interested in try-harding on completion speed, especially with mods. The speed at which you can build structures with the mods I'm using is incredible.

The game is so fun that people are playing past the point of difficulty and just expanding out to goofy stuff. For me it's making the greatest research station in the cosmos, for this guy it's building a self-deploying sphere.

I'm surprised nobody has made a blueprint mod yet. There's CopyPlanetFactory v1.6.7 but I think that copies the entire planet? Some unity pro could probably just mod this in faster than they can make another EM turbine planet.

You talking about the logistics configurations? Biggest surprise in that config is that by default they don't charge at the max rate, which can result in bottlenecks if a given hub is super popular. I've started setting them up to all use max power but I don't know if that has any downsides...

Yeah i started shipping them off to a planet with a near sun orbit. Doesn't really matter that much. It's so cheap to make a hundred em ejectors to eject sails opportunistically, much harder to build the sails and sphere components.

Had to modify the Santa Claus' North Pole Research Station to integrate dark matter but I like it better now. I do wish there was a way to have a white ring to move the energy matrices around in, but I think it's impossible unless I mod 4-length long boy sorters.
