    Tom Clancy's The Division

Darkzone definitely needs a lot of work, so we'll see how they handle it in coming patches. Ran in to a team last night that was a 4 man rogue squad with a secondary 4 man squad supporting them as non-rogues. The non-rogues were all running ballistic shields and bodyblocking...

    Tom Clancy's The Division

I feel leveling that many alts will take far, far longer than just grinding challenge mode missions for 30 a pop.

    Tom Clancy's The Division

Is there a high-end replacement for the spider silk holster? The one with all 3 main stat bonuses on it? So far all 3 high ends I've gotten from challenging missions have been crap compared to it =\

    Tom Clancy's The Division

People really only do public groups to run the story missions, and I mostly agree. The encounters/side quests and stuff aren't really set up for multiple people and are already pretty faceroll by yourself.

    Tom Clancy's The Division

The PVP at 30 with mostly high end gear feels a lot more "Tom Clancy" than the rest of the game does, funnily enough. It suddenly turns hyper-realistic with everyone being able to drop each other in 1-2 sniper rounds or half an smg mag.

    Tom Clancy's The Division

Well, the people that got ahead with the pre-perf phoenix drops aren't *THAT* ahead. Give it another week of people grinding at level 30 and they'll be basically caught up gear wise. The larger and much more systemic issue is the rogue system being kinda awful at endgame. It worked great...

    Tom Clancy's The Division

Do you even see damage numbers when shooting players? I can't even remember if you do or not, but I feel like you don't? And yea, if you're fresh at 30 and fighting people in the DZ, be prepared for some of them to be in complete godmode. Not a stretch at all for some of the mega grinders to...

    Tom Clancy's The Division

Finally finished grinding to 30. Phoenix credits don't seem as godawful slow as Reddit led me to believe? Getting 30 per challenging mission + daily bonuses isn't awful. It's not especially quick, but you can grind out a pattern a day pretty reasonably at that rate. Anyone else running...

    Tom Clancy's The Division

LMGs and ARs suck at literally every point in the game, no reason to use them at all. SMGs blow them both out of the water in every way, unless you really cannot use a sniper for some reason for long range, no reason not to be using smg/sniper. Shotguns have some merit for ridiculous burst...

    Desktop Computers

Went with 2 of them, Asus PG279Q for the main and an MG279Q for the secondary. Cover both my bases with a freesync and a gsync, so we'll see where cards go in the future. Now the first world struggle of finding good 1440p wallpapers has begun.

    Tom Clancy's The Division

DZ PVP at endgame won't happen unless they rebalance the credit/xp gain and loss ratio. Going rogue right now is such a massive dick kick with the penalty on death being multiple DZ ranks and 100k+ currency, while the gain for surviving a manhunt is minuscule (like 2k currency and a meaningless...

    Tom Clancy's The Division

I don't think it actually enforces those DZ brackets though, or at least it doesn't seem to. I was able to waltz right in to the 0-12 or whatever bracket that DZ01 is at player level 16/DZ rank 18 and murdering everything in sight, use an evac point, etc.

    Tom Clancy's The Division

I had to back off of ultra at 1440p cause I'm autistic about my framerate and it was dipping below 60 in a couple places, but yea holy goddamn is this game pretty.

    Tom Clancy's The Division

I haven't seen anything that made me thinking someone is cheating in the darkzone yet on PC, but it's still only a few days in so who knows. Visually on PC at 1440p it pretty much shits on ps4, but that isn't surprising.

    Desktop Computers

Finally un-jewed and bought a new monitor. Holy balls how did I live without 1440p/ips prior to this. Truly I was living in the dark ages.

    Tom Clancy's The Division

It's not really that surprising that this has done so well. Destiny did pretty damn well, and I know there has to be a market in the PC user base for a Destiny-like game. Division doesn't really do anything amazing or revolutionary for sure, but it also doesn't really fuck anything up either...

    Tom Clancy's The Division

Made it to like level 12, did darkzone up to 15 or so, much murder was had. I'm stuck on the story missions now though, the napalm factory thing is like fucked for me and is missing the floor in most of the areas and I fall through the world. Relaunched the game half a dozen times, tried...

    Service Providers (Internet, TV, Etc)

I think I'm actually going to be forced to move by Comcast this year. The last month or so my connection has gone to literal shit, like 1-3mbps download speeds, 30% packetloss constantly, etc. I work primarily from home and can't stay connected to an rdp/ssh session worth a shit anymore. Comcast...

    Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

If only the movie had been, you know, good. We might have seen something this nuanced. Instead it was all hippie bullshit.

    Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Personally I was shocked by Avatar when they went with the complete 180 on the ending and the bad guys all won and humanity is doomed. You spend an entire movie with this awesome space marine Colonel with a badass scar that pilots robots, trying to desperately to stave off hostile aliens so his...

    Stardew Valley

It feels pretty fast/hectic at the start, but kind of turns in to the opposite down the road once you're about a year in and you'll be struggling to find things to do to fill the day and going to be at like 5pm for lack of them.

    Stardew Valley

Game is a life ruiner for sure. I've been putting in like 8 hours every day after work because I make good adult decisions.

    Dark Souls 3

It was only bullshit because it was counter to the way it worked in DS1. I don't think I'd call it necessarily worse, just different. We were all already conditioned by DS1 though so it felt really wrong at first.

I tried to watch media via "legit" means today. I figured, I have Prime already, might as well see what's on it. Oh hey, they have Vikings? I haven't seen season 3/4 yet, great! NOPE SORRY HD PLAYBACK IS DISABLED DUE TO HDCP restrictions. Okay maybe they just don't like Chrome. Nope, same in...

    Tom Clancy's The Division

You and me both. I really enjoyed the darkzone in the beta, but it's Ubisoft and I'm pretty sure there just isn't going to be any kind of endgame on the actual release and it'll be a waste of 60$.

You could try ordering from some of the chinese proxy places, but they mostly focus on big ticket cards, so not sure if they'd custom print an entire deck. Magic: the Gathering Proxy Generator Is great for just getting images of an entire decklist to proxy otherwise.

    Dark Souls 3

Yar, DS1 was a .dll hack to get 60fps, but that also broke a ton of shit like ladders and falling damage etc. I never really paid much mind to the durability thing in DS2 as I was mostly using greatswords and shit, but the math on it was some real butt-cancer for anyone trying to run...

    Dark Souls 3

DS2 ran at 60 on PC on launch, no modding needed. It also had the broken weapon durability that came with it which I'm not sure they ever actually fixed?

The Last Witch Hunter (Vin Diesel)

For reals, very watchable. Gets a bit groan-enducing towards the end as it's very predictable, but it's a solid hard fantasy movie which we don't get much of these days. And good god can Rose possibly be any hotter?

    Tom Clancy's The Division

That's odd, has to have something to do with group play maybe? I put like ~15 hours in purely solo and never once ran in to it this beta.

The real issue with survival is it's like 50 rounds of garbage AI to grind through and it takes like 30 minutes to get to the actual hard part. I won't be even bothering to unlock colors any time soon.

0 hacking in the current beta on PC that I can tell. I can't imagine trying to play this on a controller personally.

    Tom Clancy's The Division

The PVE is pretty bland, but the darkzone is great fun. Still not sure if it's a buy for me or not yet, kind of need to wait and see how much more there is to do darkzone wise.

    Black Desert

I don't think I can actually play MMOs anymore. I was about as hyped as you can be for this, and it's really awesome in a lot of ways. Graphics put literally every other MMO to shame, runs great, combat is very meaty and satisfying, characters have pretty cool design, etc. Then I spend 90...
