Yeah IMO the later chalice dungeons are end game content, right before you fight the last boss. You could even wait for NG+, since chalice dungeons aren't changed by your game progression I think.

Bump. This server is awesome. Most players are what I call dedicated casuals. Just finished up the last class epic (bard) four months after Kunark launch and working on VP keys. Great fun, great people, great server.

Lower chalice dungeons definitely suck, especially once you start adding offerings like putrid, cursed, defiled.

EQ1 was definitely stylized and limited by low-poly requirements. The updated Luclin models were largely hated at the time due in part to the large stylistic change and also shittier animations with more realistic models.
