It will be more valuable later on when trees actually have tiers and the founder's pickaxe can cut down any tree in the game.
Right now? Yeah, not so much. But you gotta look forward to release. Copper axe isn't always going to be able to cut down everything.
As someone that paid at least...
Looks better than ever.
Gee, sorry nerds, we didn't mean to give you a new website that works on every device you might check it on. We really should have stuck with that 1998 design, that was killer.
I know claims are probably still fucked and disappearing, but does anyone know of any publicly-available crafting stations? I have already lost three sets of the tier 1-2 stations and am bummed out at the thought of making them again :/ I have wasted so many fucking resources to this voxel bug shit.
In the beginning, I'd say you could harvest enough resources to craft something new every 30 minutes or so. However, you often want to make things multiple times to get a good roll on stats. As you get up in the tiers you are looking at a couple of hours of gathering per upgrade.
However...
Hey all,
To greatly increase the speed of Burled Wood harvesting:
Put on your Mastercraft Bracer, craft yourself a pair of +2 Discovery (Blue) Keen Eye Bands, then craft Copper Axes until you get a blue or legendary with high (99?) speed and decent damage. Yes it takes some copper and wood...
That's what templates are for. You save what you made, delete your claim (get the materials + props back), move it, and recreate it elsewhere with a single click.
Edit - NM, I re-read and understood what you meant.
Yeah, just build shit with dirt first if you want. Don't build with anything that's hard to acquire yet. Once you create the paint tool, you can go back to anything you've made and swap out the materials for whatever else.
If you transfer to a different continent make sure you shut the game down and restart. There is a bug where claims from other worlds will show up after you switch. That could be part of your problem.
They will take a cut from all sales through Player Studio, that should be a decent chunk if this...
I dug my claim out the exact same way and my two crafting stations were still gone :/ Didn't really matter because I found someone with open stations, but still.
Joining / chatting in channels works, but I haven't joined Rerolled since they said that joining a channel stops your progress from saving :P I'm pretty sure that's the reason my claim shit got buried back underground in the first place.
I dug down, but my crafting stations were nowhere to be found. Just re-did what I had. Found someone that had open crafting stations and just used those.
Logged off after some new changes; when I logged back into the same server, I was in my spot but someone else had the claim... Better luck...
I can 100% see this happening and people being willing to sub for it. I might.
Finally got to log in today for the first time since the outage. My claim is still there, but all of the ground has been reset to how it was before I dug it out. I have two props that remain (torches), but it seems...
Patch code done, build has been started. Should be up soon.
"We *might* have news on how hard it is to claim stuff. We definitely found a bug. Trying to figure out if we can do anything about it in the near term.
The good news is it's a bug. More details soon."
One fun thing to do is that you can resize the loading screen. Move your mouse to the top or side, and you can drag the edges in, showing you a clear view of the world as it loads.
Re: crafting being a mystery, "There's a whole central element missing that guides you through all that. For...
I'm pretty sure you can just look into your inventory gray spots for a list of all the materials they're planning. Stuff like obsidian is going to be deep underground, I'm sure. The tier 1-2 stuff will continue to be surface level.
There is a command to reset you to ground level. It warps you straight up so you need to dig perpendicular for a bit to avoid falling straight back down. This also has hilarious griefing consequences when someone digs a huge pit on their claim, which no one else can dig out of, and people fall...
