If SE had half a brain they'd outsource a remake of the original graphics to 4K current ones and change nothing else. It would have been better then this remake, and would have cost less. Hope it still happens.

Do you crash at a set date or is it random? If its random its probably something fucked in your game specifically and you'll have to try and figure out what it is. Maybe try setting peace with all and letting the game run?

Guess the quality of the next parts isn't very important, it will probably decline with each part. People will want to finish it regardless. Bit like GoT, everyone knew the quality was declining and the end could only be a shitshow, yet literally every watcher completed the series.
