NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Welcome to my world. Week 1 I was against Kareem Hunt, Week 2 CJ Anderson, Witten, and Brees, now I'm up against Gurley, and he has Rams' D with their 3 sacks/pick/fumble recov already.

When you traded for Hyde hours before the game and are going against Gurley. Fantasy probs.

Nice. But when I finally dragged my eyes over to the other side of the poster...why does it say week 1?

I don't think this one is ALWAYS true, but it has a pretty remarkable accuracy rate. There's also this variation of it, which only looks at the Redskins last home game before the election, and remarkably it held true EVERY time from 1940-2000. Redskins Rule - Wikipedia

And from what I heard, people weren't high on Flowers as a LT even in that draft. Rumor was they wanted Scherff, but we took him at #5, so Giants semi panicked and just grabbed the next lineman on their board.

I stopped believing in these after the Ravens lost to the Redskins in the regular season last year and didn't win the Super Bowl.

Will say that while the Skins got Trent Williams and Scherff as top 5 picks, our starting C (who can also play guard) Spencer Long and RT Morgan Moses were both 3rd round picks in 2014. Both have been very good. See a lot more C/G combo guys these days, and you can still find good ones as late...

If I'm doing a rough power rankings, I'd say AFC has edge on NFC currently, but in each conference would look something like this... AFC: Chiefs, Raiders, Denver, Steelers, Patriots, Ravens. Titans look to be class of AFC South, decimated Jax who handled Houston, and their loss was to the...

Selling on Eagles. Hell we had chances to make more plays against them and win that game but didn't. Their O line isn't very strong, and lack of running game will hurt them. Wentz looks pretty good, uses his mobility well to evade pressure, and their D front 7 is extremely good. But I think...

This seems weird considering they have AJ as the backup that everyone thinks could be a starter elsewhere. I can understand team being fed up with Dalton, but do they have zero confidence in AJ as well?

Yeah he made some better throws on that drive. But you could see when Reed went out injured he lost the plot a bit save for a few throws to Crowder who picked up a couple big 1st downs. He finally hit Pryor for a decent completion that got us down there, and it was a nicely designed play for...

We were the 3rd best offense in the league last year. Although we aren't nearly that this year until cousins starts actually trusting some receivers. Yeah he made a decent toss on the TD to win it, but overall he didn't look great today. Running game and Christ Thompson bailed him out. Also...

The Cravens story sort of old news for us at this point. I guess over there with the USC thing it popped up again. If he decides to come back he can be activated, but he'd probably have some explaining to do to teammates. Daez I hope it's a good game. Curious to see how our O line does...

The shitty stadium experience is the real loser for some of these teams (because it's not the case for many teams who give a very good one). Maybe it's more accurate to say it's not a shitty stadium experience, but you can get so much out of being at home just watching RedZone that getting to...

I agree NFCN looked good, but I'd consider Saints and Cardinals weaker teams. We'll get a chance to measure up some of the tougher looking division from last year and this year next couple weeks. Week 2: Eagles @ Chiefs, Cowboys @ Broncos, Lions @ Giants Week 3: Steelers @ Bears, Falcons @...

Considering they're running it for all of 3 yards since that first carry (and Peterson has like 8 yards on 7 carries since that play), probably not all bad. That handoff on 3rd and goal from the 5 much earlier in the game worked so well.

Well, assuming nothing weird happens with Elliott, still have a chance in my league. Have Michael Thomas going against Adam Thielen and Saints kicker Lutz...with less than a point of a lead. Zeke got more yards than I wanted tonight but no TD's helped.
