Premiums across the board are crazy right now. My suggestion for the Morgan dollar is finding one at a local coin shop, or anything else for that matter. Everything about it is easier and less stressful and if you get to know them they’ll bring the premiums down some for you.

Good to know! I’ll still be cautious with it, I just don’t feel bad about picking it up with my bare hands. 0.9999 gold I don’t want to touch / will keep in a plastic airtight. I really don’t see anything spectacular happening with precious metals as far as some breakout in price. It’s less...

Some other stuff I got today. When I was a kid I used to collect coins (for what that was worth, didn't have much money obviously,) so I find this stuff kinda fun in its own right, precious metals market aside. A "novelty" 2 gram Heraeus Kinebar. The dealer also had a 100 gram version but it...

The Krug was from a local coin shop as it was about $100 over spot and no shipping obviously. The other coins I’ve got and silver bullion bars have been from a combination of JM Bullion and SD Bullion, mostly JM. Very legit and popular online dealers.

It might! I was just listening to an analyst today and he said it’s possible to see 1500-1600 in the coming months and his prediction is above 2000 up to 2200 in the coming year. I’m not gonna get a ton more, but I do want two things. I’ll probably pick up a gold American Eagle soon, and I...

Picked up this African today. It's a full ounce of gold, but the composition of these are 91.67 percent gold and 8.33 percent copper. Amazing how much the copper comes through, as compared to 0.9999 gold. This does at least make it very resilient to handling, which is cool, because I like to...

Gonna try out different pools after I get paid out. Other than that I’ll just keep it in eth. If eth 2.0 crashes the video card market I’m gonna buy a few thousand dollars worth of cards and speculative mine stuff for fun.

Almost halfway to being paid out on 2miners, at $41. My estimation is approximately 50 cents of power a day. Not half bad for only part time mining in 9 days really, with only one GPU. Fuck, I wish I'd bought a fat stack of video cards last year.

I bought $11 from a local coin store, because why not? Just a little over spot. 1 oz silver American Eagle, and a 1/4 ounce gold American Eagle. Nifty little things. I also ordered a full ounce gold Krugerrand he said would come in next week so I can play Lethal Weapon, and 1 each of silver...

Thanks as always. I'll do a bit of a combination on these. Will see how the market pans out the next few days to see if I can get in on a bit of a dip or not. A lot of my 401k money is unallocated at the moment.

What Fidelity funds are good for the 401k at this point? I have a decent amount of money sitting in BrokerageLink. Retirement, say, 20 years out. Sane but maybe a little aggressive. Note however unfortunately my company doesn’t allow full control of things and I’m limited.

Exactly, I don’t always have access to my desktop or laptop, and the mobile app is so fucking clunky sometimes I don’t even bother doing things I otherwise would have. On Robinhood I could at least with great agility trade things quickly and easily with a very clean layout.

I know we’ve discussed this before, but god DAMN does Fidelity’s mobile UI (which isn’t even a UI, just webpages) suck shit. It’s really obnoxious. Can a company of this magnitude not do better and get with the times. It’s really pathetic. I’m not going to use Robinhood again, but on a daily...

Ohhh, interesting, big difference between revenue and profit obviously. That sounds pretty cool something small worked into something bigger and sounds enjoyable. I’ll really have to examine this idea some and do reading. I’ve got spare time during the day that would be cool if I could profit on.

Got it. Yeah I mean, I wasn’t at all thinking of it as a magic thing, I realize you have to show profit x years out of x years and all that. I am not stupid enough (or maybe I’m not smart enough) to try and grift the IRS. I just meant legally writing off what is possible to do so. I make right...

I read a little bit about all of that too, but I don't pretend to know much about the history and effects of all of it. If Ethereum moves to 2.0 in months like you said could happen, and causes a massive drop in video card prices (people selling off their rigs) I'm gonna buy some up and...

    Bitcoins/Litecoins/Virtual Currencies

That’s my understanding of it. Though that full implementation from what I’m reading will likely take a couple of years (people keep bandying about 2023.) At first there will be a hybrid stake / POW then full stake. Then it’ll have to be onto other coins for mining.

So last Wednesday as mentioned I’ve been fucking around letting my computer mine ETH while I’m asleep / working / at the lady’s house. Probably 15 hours a day minus one day where it crashed and I didn’t notice. I’ve made $21.79 gross money so far. Probably a couple dollars of power so say...

Fair enough! I don't think I'd want to day trade as a job. Sounds way too stressful for me unless I already had enough money to say I was retired, and I certainly wouldn't pretend to know enough about it to do so. I started playing around with stocks in 2006 myself (still have my original...

No. Just a hobby. I was “day trading” a while and went on vacation to Hawaii last month and haven’t done it much since. I bought CPUH units right before that to park some cash. CPUH is splitting units in like 2 odd weeks. May want to hold on for warrants if nothing else? I dunno. It's going to be available on several more trading platforms (including Robinhood) after this, so it may raise up a decent bit. I'm staying in it at almost $40,000.
