I was getting at the fact the NFL caps it’s draft classes so if other players come along that are locks, it bumps the marginal players off the ballots for those years
Any marginal hall of famers better have retired last year or hold out a few more years because the draft classes in 5-7 years will be full of first-ballot guys.
But look on the bright side. Unless the Bills pull of a Super Bowl win, the NFCE will remain the only division in the league to have all 4 teams that have won a Super Bowl
You guys are making good points but I don’t see the Bucs putting this team together if they were picking 28th plus every year in the draft for 2 decades
And here I am forgetting the Bills are still alive. But since there are no NFCE teams left in the playoffs, the Bills actually have a chance to win a Super Bowl this time.
With the elimination of Cleveland today we are guaranteed that the team that wins the Super Bowl will have won at least one other in the franchise’s history.
