To be fair its easy to forget a lot of the side shit in the books, especially in AFFC and ADWD. Some of the storylines were complete filler like the whole Aegon thing.

I thought they made the Mad King look stupid in the last episode. I would have preferred they stuffed the unused Aerys scene from season 1 into one of Bran's visions, really dumb they never showed execution of Rickard and Brandon.

Single player was really good except for the final boss, the huge giant megademon from Doom 3 was better.
