Ohh, The Twelve Kingdoms (Juni Kokki) was pretty awesome back in the day It was very early Isekai. Unfortunately, the show just kinda fizzled out after a few complications. This was released back in 2002.

This movie took place going into the summer of '91. So super super early 90's. Still holdover from the 80's. Hell, they played Hangin' Tough, which very well could have still been on the radio to it's popularity almost 3 years prior. It was first released back in August of '88.
