Star Citizen Online - The search for more money

Yeah maybe, I'm not convinced that SC is a true MMO though. They've said a lot of MMO type features but it's impossible to min/max properly until the game goes into beta and you have a closer idea to the truth.

Yeah I did the same thing. After a few payments where I was paying interest on the debt I just got sick of it and paid it all off. I don't want to belabor the point, but personally I enjoy starting games fresh and working my way up. Do you think you wouldn't enjoy starting at zero and...

Reasons I wouldn't resub in that circumstance: 1. I've already done it, I'm onto new things. 5% of the games I enjoy I'll play more than once. 2. I'd never enjoy PvP without PRX. 3. Old MMO communities are usually terrible. They're full of max level people who are bad. 4. Old MMO games are...

I know you're mostly bullshitting me, but have you never met groups of people who have money and proudly display how much money they have, and have a career where the amount of money they show is a strong determinant in how much money they can continue to make?

Yeah that shit blows my mind. Most of the people I know who talk to me about, "Oh yeah I'm going to get that next Friday when my paycheck comes in and I can afford it." or say, "Things are tight right now, I won't be able to pay for <some necessary item>" I just want to sit down with them and go...

It's like what we talked about before. What you say is true, but very few schools can guarantee internships. Getting an CS internship can be very difficult if you don't have something to stand out (contacts, being female, stellar grades etc). Honestly Resco, the claim that cities are not phased and are still busy is just another time you've put out false statements that you should've known were false. There's just too many times you've put out unsubstantiated bullshit that was untrue in defense of ESO you've lost too much credibility...

#1 thing you can do is build a personal project that is fun, appears technically demanding and easily presentable and understandable. Star Citizen Online - The search for more money

Yeah maybe. I think the vision for Star Citizen is going to be very instanced and multiplayer optional though. Honestly I'd love if they redid Eve with a better combat system and engine. I always wanted to play it but can't stand games that have combat I don't enjoy.

Star Citizen Online - The search for more money

No. I'm sure a lot of Eve players will play it, but it's very different from Eve. Eve has one of the best implementations of a living breathing galaxy, Star Citizen is focusing on smaller gameplay with instancing, combat, roleplaying and spending your paycheck on ships.

    The Elder Scrolls Online

I'm pretty confident you're wrong about that, do you have any evidence that the cities aren't phased? As far as I know the only zone that isn't phased is Cyrodiil, but it's instanced and I have reason to believe they change the population thresholds dynamically.

I also bought in for selfish reasons. I knew it'd be big and I wanted to buy in asap so I could say I was into SC before it was cool. In truth I bought in a long time ago because I really really really wanted another space combat sim.

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

Yeah small business owners are probably on the other end of the spectrum. They know their cost to earning ratio is what grows their business (among other things), where as a salesman feels he needs to increase his display of spending to make more sales.

Marriage and the Power of Divorce

From what I hear the people with real problems are those who feel obligated to spend a lot of money, ex: salesmen who feel they don't have credibility if they don't have an expensive clothes, watch, car and house.

I don't go out often because I'm a lazy introvert, but when I do I usually pay for my friends who aren't making a lot of money currently. I don't really think much of it, I figure they'd do the same for me. But if I went out 3+ times a week I'd probably start to resent it.
