Comparing LoL or any other MOBA to an MMO is pointless. MOBA class design is not necessarily good for PVE design. There has to be a choice from the start to be a PVP game or a PVE game. Trying to be both just leaves both camps without what they want.

These systems already exist in said games. The devs just don't follow thru on their promises and until they do I'm happy to lose the 15% that play for the PVP so the 85% that play for PVE can be left alone. If they ever get their shit together then fine.

That's bullshit. EQ2 was ruined by their attempt at PVP balance. They even had a system to keep it separate from the PVE abilities. My enchanters were constantly nerfed every patch. Why? Their PVE abilities made them too powerful in PVP. Class balance doesn't exist. I agree with you there...

I'd imagine its gonna start end of may beginning of June. They have to fit open beta in between there and aug 27 too. So soon.

The beta roadmap states phase 4 or open beta. States characters will not be wiped. They have followed that roadmap religiously since alpha.

Keep in mind, open beta characters will transfer over and not be wiped. So technically, we all get early access.

I'm pretty sure you'll see PS4 games rival top PCs in the graphics dept. Besides being optimized out the ass, they have direct access to the hardware. As I understand it, PC games waste a ton of power with poor code.
