There's a path in Lingrave that bypasses all of Stormveil Castle right into the next zone. I stumbled across that and that is yet another cool ass biome. Need to level a bit more before I finally go to the castle. Amazing biome after amazing biome. Unbelievable.

In the place you start the game in. That chapel before the grafted scion. Is there a way to open that blocked door? I can see those stairs and stuff behind it so I assume there is. But I didn't find any kind of key or anything after dicking around awhile and just moved on.

I don't understand the gripe. The game does point you in the main story direction. You can just not do that and wander off as you wish.

I accidentally used the wolf summon on some cave boss and those stupid wolves absolutely wreckt it. Well, distracted it while I killed him. Need to avoid using them as I dislike that. That was the first time I ever used the summons at all. Need to figure out where I can find more summons...

I escaped the poison swamp for now and killed that Dragon. Need to find where his heart is supposed to go later. The horse based fights are pretty easy.

Well the first guard camp you get to has a 18 DEX flail and a 18 STR greatsword weapon right in it. The greatsword lets you absolutely destroy that Erdtree Knight on horseback btw. That fight is a complete joke on the horse. I didn't even get hit once, just gallop around let him try and strike...

That flail requires 18 DEX.
