I knew about the copying without counters, but somehow I didn't remember you lose 1 of both lands before the "no counters" ability is resolved, as you own 2 identical legendaries while its on the stack. Its been too long since I played competitively I guess, and MTGO autoresolves these things...

Its not just Juzam, its all older creatures. I doubt any creature from ABU would get played in standard if they were made legal. They are all poor by todays standard. Even the fabled sedge troll is kind of meh. Juzam was also facing swords to plowshares, easily the most played removal spell...

Juzam djinn used to be a great creature. The level of timmy in recent sets is hilarious, its only a matter of time before they print a 5/5 hexproof that draws 3 cards for GG. Of course some combo players will abuse it and it'll get banned, but thats the basic thing going on.

In the base game I noticed weird AI priorities, but it doesn't matter one bit once you start playing properly. I either kite the enemy into death, or shoot em straight to death, if I can't do either, my build / approach have failed and its time to go home.

I wish they did something where achievements on a progression server give bonus items on the next. That would actually make me want to play, so I can start slightly twinked on the next server.
