Never took that AMD order on account of the big weakness in NVDA and AMD. AMD is now below the ~95 pivot and there are some pretty big gaps down to the next support levels. ~89.5 and ~84.2

And to think we were trading SPY 460 only ten trading sessions ago. There really isnt much in the way of support until back to the 428/429 level.

Attempting a bounce here at the SPY low of yesterday. If we give it up, I expect some heavier selling into the close.

You are so much better off fully understanding how equity trading (stock trading) works before you foray into options. There are a hell of a lot of moving parts to options, so it really isn't that easy to just quick explain their price movements. Here's another source of info, and a great one...

Turned at 450.69 my pivot is drawn (since Sept) at 450.90 ... its never an exact hit, but.. expected level after we moved so much so quick this afternoon. Again, matters more if youre in a trade for the day and looking for profit taking levels. You'd want to at least be trimming profits coming...

That's been a significant level since September last year, so.. yea... ignore it all you like.

My greatest concern going forward is Q1 "surprise" misses from the Russia / Ukraine fallout. Quite a few companies are going to be writing off assets in the billions, let alone lost revenue. re @Sanrith Descartes I've been around FoH since the old days of Furor running the joint. However, I really only spend any time in the finance threads now. I just don't have time to argue with idiots anymore elsewhere in the forum.

My son was born March 2020. I dropped $1k into a custodial account on SPY (priced on his birthday). Hopefully that can show him what compound interest can do at some point down the line. Timing was pretty darn good for the dip buy!

House prices were 1/8 - 1/4 of the cost of now.

In fairness, the QQQ only closed above the 200D once. I still stand that we can pullback SPY to 200D and consolidate a while.
