yeah it's all random, brother got a decent payout from a random event and capitalized on it as some Starfield secret. Well played blue thunder gaming.

My original game had the same Industrial Outpost too, interesting. This is the first time I've looked at stuff at NG+ but I expected them to be different.

That Bionics lab isn't on Wellish for me, I'm on NG+. I kinda expected all of these to be unique rolls for every run.

my ship in the first playthrough, heading to NG+ 4x 6x I wish ship combat was more territorial. The settled systems would have more weight if there were just certain systems occupied by Pirates and others occupied by Va`ruun that you needed to break through or have a high risk of...

I likes rolling with betty howser the most. There is something so endearing about an older woman who was already sick of your shit before you were even born. https://starfield.fandom.com/wiki/Betty_Howser

It's funny how the only way cool spaceships can be made is through the ship blending exploit.

I'm with you. If you're an individual contributor working on a product with shit management / executives that causes you to produce a shit product, you're an enabler. It's the same story as Boxer in Animal Farm ( Boxer (Animal Farm) - Wikipedia ) loyalty to a leader makes you culpable for that...

I've been enjoying your blogs on this, I'd view the gallery!! If you wanted to savescum-steal a lethal combat ship, and had max Flight skill but no decent ship of your own, what would your strat be?

I really miss Project Nevada's helmet features in Starfield. I loved sneaking around in the dark using nightvision/ultravision/infrared and so much of Starfield is super dark. https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/130/images/40040-1-1296587343.jpg...

I think you'll be able to do any part of the game as long as you're willing to respec to some cheese build or strat. I'll be interested to hear what tough encounters you find and how you overcome them. I think it might be more satisfying to run a 2 or 3 man party and put other limitations on...

It is weird that you don't get the temples at the end of a different POI with more content and instead they're just out in the open. Or that the temples themselves don't include a randomized cave or something to fight through. I'd say if you've done a major faction quest line (My favorite so...

Am I the only person retarded enough to, after rotating through New Atlantis 20+ times, still experience a moment of anxiety when I see the Transit in-station and worry that it'll leave without me?

also re: companion skills, this is the guide I've been using but idk how out of data it is. It's amazing how every game release people dedicate so much effort to documenting the game's mechanics in rando locations, but it all gets lost. Most game info put into somewhere other than Starfield...

Good to know on turrets, I didn't even consider getting them. I also switched to an "alpha strike and regen" approach since you can load your ship with massive numbers of guns.

For all of these uniqueish ships, are they superior to what you can build normally, given that you have a high character level and starship engineering 4?

not sure if this is a subset or superset of that link but here's what I've been using: I think an outpost's starport has everything I want, since I'm not using those giant pieces that are only available at manufacturers. I'm not super high level tho

I have sympathy for them because the mobile games that are least predatory are most impacted. This encourages mobile game devs to increase their $/install even if it decreases the number of installs (aka users). So they are motivating more ads and ingame purchases even if it drops the total...

Not to my knowledge. I wouldn't be surprised if those are generated when a cell is loaded. I know the terrain on a planet is deterministic, but the POIs aren't.

Yeah the risk vs complexity vs reward for just selling guns is way out of proportion to other gameplay modes. In my opinion the most lucrative options should be setting up a profitable outpost and stealing ships, followed by high-production value mission lines (ex: Crimson/UC Sysdef), followed...

No respec is kinda lame, but understandable given that much of the skill tree unlocks research or outposts options. I wouldn't trust Bethesda to have a respec that would delete outposts or remove researched items. I went hard on outposts and research and am pretty sure that's not advised, the...

Yep. This guy has a F2p game with 100 million yearly downloads and a net revenue of 1 million USD, this rule would take 108% of his revenue.
