Well you're probably supposed to be able to, but literally none of the people who died respawned into the fight he was in.

Ben got both gold and exp when he failed. Sounds like its completely bugged. Sometimes you can't respawn, sometimes you don't get rewards... lol

Im watching Ben fight Ashava and 8 of the 10 people he was with in the fight died basically instantly and apparently, you cannot respawn back into the fight. Hilarious.

That's the way it is in most ARPGs until you reach true endgame. Barbs are the most painful class to fresh start with in D2 as well, and then they turn into wrecking balls at high levels of gear

I don't think this show ramps up the woke. It doesn't feel like it goes in that direction at all honestly. It's just a YA story like wormie and others have pointed out. Which means the dialogue is kinda cheesy and the plot is incredibly formulaic.

PoE isn't nearly as build diverse as people give it credit for. Auras are entirely too powerful and most builds become some variation of "okay, how do I break the game with this skill gem while getting all the reservation cost reduction I need to fit these idiotic auras in?" And while there are...

Because its annoying and escort quests are notoriously prone to bugs. You've only played through the first act. It's so antithetical to ARPGs as well.

The streams that I watched if they got too far ahead the npc just stopped. And I really hope nobody would actually defend escort quests as fun and interesting. At the very best they are just unintrusive to the normal run and kill ARPG mechanics... which means... what the fuck is the point?

The special effects in this are pretty top notch. Those shadow monsters are bad ass. Also, if this show was just the gunslinger, gimp and assassin vs the Irish mobster it would be better.
