A single 970 cannot run everything "nicely" at 1440p. Even a 980ti dips below 60 on the division/witcher 3 at max settings and 1440p.

I finally got around to testing that trapped cover mod and can confirm, it's fucked and works backwards. My scan with the increased damage vs scanned targets produces M4 headshots of about 350-380k depending on what you're shooting. Using cover + trapped M4 headshots are in the 420-450k range...

Ut: grind the united nations mission on hard until you're kitted in full purples, it's like minimum 8 per run and it's stupid easy even with poverty gear. Then move on to the tunnel mission on challenging, you'll be grinding this for a while. Somewhere around like 100-120k sheet dps you'll want...

Yep challenge mode is not nearly as hard as people think it is. Sure, randoms can be pretty bad, but I find I can carry event he worst randoms through any of them besides the power plant and my gear is nothing really special (still on purple gloves and holster cause replacing them is impossible).

Anyone not using that talent is mostly wrong at this point, especially if you're soloing at all. You're damn near immortal vs npcs if you run first...

Patch has definitely made the DZ a lot more volatile. Death penalties while rogue seem to be a fixed amount of XP now based on your level, so no more 100k+ losses. Lots more extraction ambushes happening, and groups seem to just try and mow down solo players on sight for the most part now...
