I had the same thing happen with Micolash and I think he's the only boss to ever bug out on me like that. After I killed the puppet mobs he did one AOE attack and then nothing but spamming Augur of Ebrietas the rest of the time. Just pump str/skl evenly, you'll be fine.

I'm 45+ hours, level 85 or so currently going through a depth 3 pthumerian chalice and all other bosses dead except for Ebrietas. Haven't used my ailing loran chalice yet.

I pretty much exclusively used boss weapons because I thought they were so much cooler than the boring generic weapons. Smelter sword, curved dragon gs, both Fume Knight swords dual wield, etc.

Whatever flaws you want to point out in BB, I don't see how anyone could think that combat in any prior game is more precise. The hit boxes in BB are damn near perfect.

There are little lamps in the chalice dungeons that light up when you walk past them, becoming markers for where you've already been. Burial blade? Do the chalice versions count? because you could find one easy on Reddit or whatever.

Regarding the no mimics in Bloodborne, I kind of felt like the larvae monsters coming out of chests on the way to Rom were an ode to mimics. Anyone else? I can't think of any specifics because I only ran through the area once, one-shot Rom.

Just found out Ludwig's 2h form is considered blunt damage and gets big boosts from +blunt gems. Makes sense.

This is how I cheesed the asshole that showed up and killed Eileen as I mentioned in my last post. I thought he was really overpowered at the point he showed up in the story so didn't feel bad at all doing this.

I didn't know anything about Eileen so she died against the first hunter I found her fighting. Apparently I'm gonna miss out on some stuff but the blade of mercy is neat.

Not sure how to co-op in chalice dungeons. Started my first one after beating BSB last night, shared the code with my brother, and we both loaded into it but our bells never found anyone :/
