Hunter. Normally I would agree that it doesn't seem so bad, but like I said, my only void weapon is a sniper rifle. If I had a fusion rifle or a shotgun I feel like I could have knocked it out in one sitting.

Not going to lie, my tune has changed a little bit. The lack of a reload animation makes a big difference and it just hits like a truck, really feels like an "exotic" weapon. My other sniper rifles were only 242 damage upgraded. Still don't think it's OP but I think all exotics should feel this...

It's much more likely that Bungie knows what they're doing with weapon balance and isn't worried, than to assume that they fucked up early on and are continuing to perpetuate a broken situation. You honestly think they would be scared of a couple nerfs?

You don't need a mic for strikes, but you should use one if you plan to do raids. Motes of light are accepted by a couple of npc's for class items and engrams. Strange coins are for a specific limited-time weekly merchant (Xur - xurday.com) that sells exotic items.

It's going to work out fine. The short timeframe makes it funnier that poopsockers make 3 of the same class to try and gear up faster. Unless you're trying to get world firsts, there's no point at all.
