EQN won't have a custom ruleset server like that, but if people want to recreate EQ1, that's pretty much what Landmark is there for. Been saying it for a year and even after all these panels I guess it still isn't clicking with people.

Ok great then you should love it, the two biggest parts of EQN, voxels and AI, are handled mostly by third parties. SOE, Voxel Farm and StoryBricks are all basically betting the future of their companies on the success of EQN.

If you haven't found Landmark enjoyable maybe you should not worry about it because you played a game with like 20% of the final systems.

We haven't seen a single class without a distance-closing ability so I don't think it's really going to be an issue for smart players.

Combat and classes are easily the two areas that people wanted the most information on. There are going to be panels later expanding on storybricks, gameplay, etc. I for one am much happier with this keynote than the previous couple of years. The suggestions sounded like they would be different...
