You'll get higher CP spawns as you level. I just got lvl 16 and got a Pokemon that spawned at 600 or so. You'll still get low CP spawns but you'll also get high ones.

I beat it despite fucking myself over with that credit card early on. Eggplant boss was my biggest obstacle to beat with zero upgrades because I was too much in debt. lol Getting out of debt made the game super easy. If you want a truly hard but fair platformer play Spelunky.

If you hang on to the ball and it sparkles that means it's going to be a curved shot. I think the game lags and thinks you've been holding on to the ball and throws a curved shot up.

The hitboxes were always intentional. It's part of how they balance the game.
