They made a ton of money on this game too. During its hay days this shit was banking them a cool 200m per year and was top 10 earning mmorpg for a long time. So its not like they wasted this or anything.

The one expansion with the story of the 2 brothers was pretty good I thought.

Meh, it can still be fixed up and added to. The real problem is getting the people back. Since most people that quit mmos never really come back in any meaningful numbers. That is not to say they could not attact new people and get some returns, but never to the launch numbers they saw.

That was one thing that Vanguard did really well was the class design. Especially the addition of casting whilst moving that no other mmo ever copied to my knowledge since. And it made combat so much more fluid.

Thats the ultimate fail of this game, no live service IMO. Imagine this game with shit that Destiny has, seasons, seasonal content, etc.... More dungeons, auto matchmaking for certain content...even raids.... It just ultimately ends up being a single player game with a lobby with no point to it...

Its not bad, each expansion had its own story as well. Played most of them except the last one that released. It was pretty well done for the most part. Plus of course side quests too.
