Yeah played the shit out of this game for a month or so on launch, figured out how to make a city with no traffic because everyone walked to work and it was glorious. Checked back like 6 months later and they had like 200 bucks in DLC... Up to 331 now.

Yeah it is a completely different mind set, Nioh and Sekiro is be aggressive, be a sword in endless motion. I beat the first boss and then put it down, will 100% play and beat this game eventually but not in the mood for another one of these right now.

Demo out now, release on March 3rd. Played the demo it has a fun parry system but so far it is a reskin of Nioh, loot, a fuck ton of skills and set items etc. If you played Nioh you know exactly what this is. Nioh with a dedicated parry button.

Time stuff is interesting story wise, and it is just more ARPG but I like the skill specializations trees and how uniques interact enough to keep playing for a while. Grim dawn turns into a mess end game IMO and only after some serious modding did I stay interested. Could also be my 500+ hours...

Yeah the katana engine plus whatever they did looks terrible in motion. If you just chill in some places it can look decent.

Glider + Stake + Glider You can only have 4 of the 8 basics so go into change equipment and setup the 4 you want. I use box/glider/stake/spring for 99% of the hunts.

The rats and bears for sure, bears are insanely strong and fast tanks. Gorilla have a chance if it knows how to do a choke hold but that is just crazy talk.

So the answer so far besides better gear is using your building stuff, the dart is god like with the hammer and completely shuts down the ape.
