The bombing run was very clearly meant to reveal theme through imagery to the viewer, rather than to make sense from a battle strategy or physics standpoint. This was very clearly a conscious production decision. There is so much actually wrong with this movie. Please fucking stop.

Books 4 and 5 are full of meandering plot masturbation that GRRM should be ashamed of, and the show very effectively corrects it. I’m glad I don’t have to slog through his next 1200 page tome of dookie to find out how the major plots tie up.

Oh yeah books 4 & 5 of ASOIAF were literary marvels. I’m ecstatic that HBO will finish this series instead of GRRM. Couldn’t be a better outcome.
