Sure, but none of that info is available in game. So playing blind you'd never know. In fact, there are so many different spell/incantation/damage types even things that seem determined on wikis and websites are still probably at least somewhat inaccurate

Just so you know pretty much every weapon has at least two "power" stat requirements. You cant ignore every other stat to pump the higher scaling power stat. You have to put at least a few points into other stats to wield almost any higher end weapon in the game

Well, it happens in open world games. People saying they 1 or 2 shot Fire Giant is pretty lucky unless they were very over leveled or he bugged out. Because there is no way you do enough damage at a "normal" level to prevent him from rolling away from you 10 times and just get to keep wailing...

I doubt you can actually gimp you character focusing on any two "power" stats no matter what the combination. You can find weapons, ashes, spells... pretty much anything that will work with whatever combo you choose. Just gotta try different stuff.
