    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

Did you ever play a healer in WoW before raidbar mods were made? It was actually pretty fun doing raid PVP healing. You had to actually look at the game world, see who was getting fucked over, click on them and heal. Once raid bars were modded in it started down the trend of whak-a-mole. I...

It all depends on production really. If they're close to signing a contract and starting production with LG, Samsung, whatever then they will probably skip the DK2 and produce CK1 for Fall/Winter. If they're still early on in the negotiation step I think they'll get DK2 out in Summer/Fall.

The Big Bad Console Thread - Sway your Station with an Xboner !

Network latency is not analogous to streaming latency. It's like the difference between moving your mouse and clicking a button and it taking 200ms for the page to load from the button click, and moving your mouse and the cursor being 200ms behind. For games with hardware mouse support the...

It's not really feature creep as much as it is implementing real ways to solve problems and satisfy features. The features of an HMD are: 1. 3d 2. Covers user's fov 3. high def display (1080p minimum, 4k is more ideal, 8k is probably the most that could be used) 4. high refresh rate (90hz...

Playable latency depends on the person though. For me, even Bioshock Infinite had enough input latency that I couldn't enjoy it. For whatever reason the unreal engine dropped hardware mouse acceleration.

I think that was the worst part of the old PVP system. On many servers there was an element of politicking and a waiting list that people went through.

I'll always have a warm place in my heart for Michael Bay because he got me my current job. I ranted to the CEO about how much Michael Bay blows and that's what convinced him I was the right man.

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

What's ironic about MMOs is the incredible stale combat for most classes in EQ allowed people to socialize while medding, auto attacking, waiting for pulls etc. OTOH voip has overtaken text as the primary method of communication.

Oculus unveils new Rift prototype with positional tracking and mysterious OLED display | Polygon No real surprises here. I'm glad they got to show off their 3d tracking even if it looks a little hokey. Seems like they have a decent screen, but the newness of the OLED displays makes it hard to...

I did this one too and yeah, the one I posted was better for me. I imagine it's build dependent, but I think I got at least 2x the rate of souls, plus I found it more enjoyable and mindless, lol.

I'll throw a contrarian vote out there. I liked my priest in WoW having a wide variety of utility spells that I rarely used, but when I did use them it was awesome. Whether it was levitate or stoneform being able to pop that off on the fly was wonderful. Then again I'm one of those people who...

My farming area of choice, no idea if it's the best one but as soon as I saw a dozen dumbass skeleton things 40 meters from a fire I knew I'd get some souls out of it. It's easy as fuck too. I watched a few hours of Louis CK standup during a farm and now whenever I hear Louis CK I think of Dark...

Yup, the hollow level sucks and I think it stops a ton of people from getting to that zone. You get better at it as you get practice and stop falling off / getting cursed, but it never gets easy It's worth it though. If you haven't gotten to Ash Lake your playthrough of dark souls is incomplete.

Yup. One could check out a TESO-central forum and compare it with an MMO central forum. The TESO forum will be full of pretty naive people who haven't played an MMO before and think TESO is goign to be the best shit ever and the MMO central forum will be full of experts in playing shitty MMOs...

I'm playing the shit out of Breakdown. The original game is just one huge tutorial for breakdown. I found this mod: Backpacks and Pick-ups fix with climbable pickups at State of Decay Nexus - Mods and community That makes the game sooo much better by making it trivial to drive around with...

IIRC There's a thread about it in the other games forum. It's similar to DayZ, cool idea but a bit shallow and need a lot of work before it's ready for primetime. I'm personally waiting to play both those games until they're in better states.

Fuck the gear, getting grand marshal / high warlord was about the permanent status of dedicating a part of your life to getting it. Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

On the other hand, gaming is like taking out the actual physical parts of playing football! I also agree that WoW got pretty close to a good sweet spot for an MMO. I feel like they made solo-content too prevalent and made loot too common. I'm a bit on the fence on whether instances for raids...

Oh and for buying armor sets on a pre-release kickstarter, nothing would crack me up more than logging into the game and seeing people who spent $1000 buying an armor set that I'll outlevel in a few days. Even if StarCitizen is amazing I think most people will regret paying as much as they...

The most important part about the EQ death penalty is that if you weren't a high level cleric you either had to ask someone for help or you had to eat a huge penalty. That forced socialization is really important.

Why are people such whiny cunts on this forum

Oddly enough both a_skeleton_03 and duppin seem pretty far from the center on the US political scale (Duppin is liberal, a_skeleton_03 is conservative). I've also noticed that the measure of how much liberals vs conservatives bitch is dependent on who is in power. Most of the time I see...

Would be cool if a fitday or other diet tracking website allowed you to enter your diet for a week and produced a chart like that. Obviously some people need more vitamins than others and one week isn't enough to get a true average but it'd probably do okay. I've tried taking multivitamins...
