The only thing that these movies have going for it is the visuals. The first one was just Dances with Wolves in space. The 2nd was just Water world. They're remaking Kevin Costner movies with giant blue CGI people.

The fact the Title screen and or even trailer or...wait for it... The entire fucking concept of these movies didn't have you nope out is mind bottling. Instead you wait 3 minutes and change, to nope out at a dude telling another dude he loved him. Which is less gay than the entire franchise itself.
