I'm not convinced it is a mismanagement issue... I think it might just be a case of bad taste... Did you see the screen shot they chose at the top of the KS page? The layout, the fonts, the colours, the graphics, the camera they used in the videos, the audio quality... Every single thing missed...

Well for me it's just because I'm an MMORPG enthusiast, and $45 for the box, alpha, and a month sub is a good price. I'm gonna buy this game no matter what whether it's now or in 3 years, so I might as well now to save myself a few bucks.

Pulling out on the last day is the most selfish and retarded strategy you could possibly pursue. Pulling out early will at least send a message of 'I'm not happy' and give them an opportunity to fix it. It's even mor effective if you tell them in a concise way why you pulled your pledge...

I think the DK class reveal is shining a big old spotlight on how little thought and preparation has actually gone into both the kickstarter, and Pantheon itself.

Is there anyone advocating unassisted navigation at all? I haven't seen it. Most are asking for a cardinal directions compass + in-game 'fog of war' style maps (vanilla wow) from what I have seen. It's the GPS mob-location mini map constantly on the UI that people don't like.

When did that card come out anyway? Early 2009? SOE's newest flagship game runs on a 5 year old rig? That's extremely generous IMO. I just found a used GTX 275 on kijiji for $15.
