    Witcher 3

It's definitely an issue for a completionist, but it is at least worthwhile in that you find a lot of recipes and rare crafting items that way and it's the best way to have enough crowns to make the upgraded gear. In those scenarios you're less of a monster hunter and more of a treasure hunter...

    Witcher 3

There are a lot of crafting patterns in this game and 99% of them are entirely useless. Especially in the base game. It's all about the Witcher sets. The Viper swords from White Orchard are really powerful early on.

I never finished the DLC. I didn't really like the new bots. They were incredibly annoying to fight and not nearly as interesting.

As far as episodes go more of them should have followed that formula. Or they should have spent more than one episode with that competing group of mercenaries together. The only thing that was dumb about it was how telegraphed the golden dragon was and that he waited about 20 years to use his...

    Witcher 3

After putting about 5 hours into the PC version and changing pretty much every single default keybind for KB/M I would recommend playing the game on PC this way instead of switching to controller. The biggest issue with KB/M and combat is the default keybinds make no sense and detract heavily...

Also Gaunter O'dimm is at the inn at White Orchard at the beginning of the game and you talk to him during the quest to question the guests for clues about Yennefer. Which had absolutely no bearing at all at release because you don't meet him again until Hearts of Stone where he is essentially...

    The Witcher

There's also the VERY weak explanation by Geralt that a golden dragon would only be the result of unique, accidental mutation. And in his experience mutations are always intentional.... In a world filled with shit like accidental mutations of god knows how many monsters. Even from the dead.

    Biggest guilty pleasures

I love Brutul saying it was "very competent". I'm a big fan of the original by Dolly but honestly Mileys is better. Putting that rendition in the guilty pleasures thread reminds of a date I was once on where she asked me what my guilty pleasures were. And then she proceeded to tell me one of...

The rep tokens were at least BoA as well so you could do stuff on multiple characters and funnel all rep items to one.

    Witcher 3

You can do a melee/bleed or melee/poison build that works very well, especially against bosses. In the original game nothing is going to be as fast as an Igni/Signs build when doing normal mobs/POIs. But the melee builds are much better against bosses.

    Gravy's Cooking Thread

I realize a lot of people don't like dark meat chicken, for whatever reason. My assumption would be people undercooking it because they are focusing more on finishing the breast correctly. But for shredded/pulled chicken thighs are way, way better. And they can stand up to overcooking in liquid...

Making the rep medallions drop more often and BoE would be nice so you had to option to grind, just buy it, or do both. They've done this in the past with things like Medallion of the Legion for WoD reps.

Every single cleaning service I've ever hired does an "initial cleaning" that takes way longer than the weekly clean to get it to a point where it's just maintenance cleaning and not deep cleaning months of filth buildup. The world in HZD is kind of a mess. A lot of it just doesn't make sense.
