No idea but just wanted to add that it is hilarious how terrible all the summoned helpers are. Most of the time I do it just for comedy. Summoned one level 71 guy or something before the Owl boss the other night and he immediately ran in and got 2-shot.
Soul level just went up as I leveled it...
Hahah, that Saito Yasoshi or whatever guy at the top of the castle just charged constantly at me running right in to my charged Tonfa attack. Easiest 1 shot of my life.
I’m convinced the developers are relying way too much on tight narrow corridors and rooms as the only way to artificially inflate difficulty in this shit. To much fuckery goes on with squeezing monkeys and tengus in to these tiny rooms and spaces, they’re unbound to geometry, have perfect...
I finally hit a point last night that I had to give up and go to bed. The Mysterious One Night Castle mission... Right after the hot springs where you have to purify the area to unlock the shrine. There’s a void zone, 3 ranged guys, two snake ladies, two fire umbrella things, and then the demon...
I got about 30 minutes in to it this morning and had to take an indefinite break. Within those first 30 minutes there 15 different locations they were jumping around, random conversations about key plot points with no context, and god knows what else. Want to push through just to see the...
Beating that snake piece of shit feels so good man, awww yeah. Fight would have been 200% easier if targeting baby sneks wasn't such a pain in the ass. But once I got it down the winning match I only had to use like 2 potions.
Apparently I'm a retard when it comes to this attuned soul stuff b/c none of the menus make any sense to me, especially at shrine when they're purified.
Tonga seems busted. I’m far from good at the game and rolled through the first mission no problem with them. Think I’ll just stick with that and the Kusarigama.
Played for just a little bit today but it doesn’t seem like they streamlined the inventory/ loot system much? Again, barely in at all but the menus feel similar and still already have 4 different legs, three hats, six or so weapon drops, etc. It has been since Nioh release though since last played.
Yeah 1 is a no brained if you like Metroidvania style at all. It has some of the most fun traversal and puzzles. The atmosphere, levels, audio and characters are great. Then you can go in to 2 and see just how much they improved on everything.
Didnt 1 come out more around the same time as Salt...
Just finished up at 99%, I know I'm missing some abilities and have two areas of the map showing 99% completion but there's nothing marked to still pickup / discover, so not sure what that's about. Will probably have to look some stuff up to get that last 1%.
Performance issues aside it was...
Nice. Yeah I finished Chapter 6 the other day. There are definitely story chapters that are gated b/c most of it was auto-able until the boss. I haven't done any pulls since the initial roll other than the daily free ones and mostly run Green Meli, Blue King, Red Ban, and Blue Diane as sub...
Just watched Fortress and Fortress 2... I cannot believe that Fortress 2 was from 2000! My mind is blown.
Fortress 1 was awesome 8/10. Chris Lambert, Kurtwood Smith, Jeffery Combs! And Clifton Collins, the whole time I was like "that dude! who is that guy!" He went on to be in like everything...
Yyeeepppp.... not sure how far I am in, but if you liked Ori 1 don't see any reason you wouldn't like this one. Really enjoying it although getting a blister on my thumb playing with the D-Pad and doing all the jumps. Never could swing the left analog stick on this thing.
The dude was big, got caught cheating on his wife with some thott, took like a 6 month hiatus and made amends with his fam, then came back and stepped it up like 1,000%. It is pretty crazy where he is today.
Definately was getting some audio issues during the prologue cutscene and some frame hitching but it seems to have settled down since. Steam version doesn't remap controls to Dual Shock so still XBox prompts, mer.
Went ahead and picked this up since the 1st was so enjoyable, rare occasion of a launch day purchase. Need something to play while working from home for Coronachan.
I've got it back to HDMI > HDMI so we'll see. Guessing it'll work just fine now. Was just mildly annoying and don't remember it being an issue previously. Think it started when switching computer desks and my 3rd monitor died and went to DP > HDMI for this one.
My primary monitor is an ASUS ROG PG279 and secondary is a ASUS VH242H. Whenever the computer goes to sleep over night and I wake it up, it is like the 2nd monitor loses connection. So when the computer turns back on it detects the 2nd display but everything that was organized on it has shifted...
