Yeah this thing just moved 200-300% in one day, there's going to be some dips and halts. GME halted down 4 times in one day before shooting back up

Unless your account is flagged as a day trader, you can't buy and sell the same stock same day. Stocks have a 2 day settlement date, so if you buy today you have to wait 2 days before you can sell. Day trading has requirements like having at least 25k, margin requirements, etc

I think some of these short squeezes aren't as targeted as GME/AMC, but if you were a short seller and you saw what happened to Melvin, you'd be an idiot not to unload your short positions until things die down. Probably why we see so many squeezes starting to happen at once.

So if TD ameritrade is like fidelity market orders won't execute until 9:30 am, in which case you'll probably be assigned some insane price. Need to use limit orders in after hours. I'd cancel it and rethink your position IMO

Did you put a market order or limit order? And I'm not familiar with TD ameritrade but for fidelity you have to specify extended hours trading on the trade ticket

It's early market, take it with a grain of salt. Early market is rife with low volume and price manipulation.

They probably won't go back up until the rumors are confirmed. ZNTE is still speculation which is why it spiked and WPF spiked on sympathy to when BFT went up since they're both Bill Foley spacs

She's been holding steady at 10.5-11.5 for the last half hour so far, probably won't see much more movement until closer to 9:30 as more people wake up and we get to the open

So I'm contemplating just buying some calls and selling them same day for pretty much the only way to limit risk in this clown show outside of not participating at all. But that's also no fun.

I've been seeing more chatter about AMC in the last couple hours than I've seen all week. And then this is going around. GME has made it open season on all shorts and people are out for blood
