I seem to average 2 months in a league, but it also depends on the league. I noped out of beastiary pretty early for example, but stayed longer in delve.
Maybe if the changes to inquisitor are interesting I'll try the whole divine arch type thing, but I also really wanted to do a freeze build, but holding out on picking a skill until more details on the self casting revamp.
Fish/Seafood can be tricky as hell. My favorites are thick tuna steaks coated in sesame seeds and seared for a couple minutes each side, or some shrimp wrapped in bacon put under the broiler. I also saw a recipe for a breading that uses potato chips that I want to try. Also, the key to tempura...
Items can drop fractured. Those are the ones that have normal affixs that are permanent and can't be rerolled by orbs. You can combine 3 of those fractured items to get a synthesized item which have the new implicit mods.
SSF isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Just make sure you use a build that doesn't require any rare/unique mods/items and just needs generic rares/low tier uniques.
I tried making it work, leveling/mapping was bearable, but Delve made me ragequit it which is shame as its one of my favorite skills gameplay wise. It'll probably suck just as much with incursions too come to think of it.
Ex are heavily range dependent, but I usually average 1 a day of heavy mapping once you get a good clear build set up and can run some high quant red maps.
First iteration was life based inquisitor to take advantage of crit penetration, I'd probably rebuild it as an occultist with the latest round of occultists buffs. I threw this together real quick. Still needs a lot of optimization.
It's not a movement skill, each cast generates a blade that has a duration, once you build up enough stacks you run until you need to stop to recast more blades. You stop to cast like any other self cast spell
Blade vortex is pretty good for Delve in my experience. I played a crit cold conversion BV which was nice as you froze/exploded shit before it could one shot you.
They'll do one or two last minute changes if theres a huge freakout like a 1k reddit thread, but they don't change much. Any tweaks will come a week or two into the league.
I've stopped giving any faith to ggg's skill balance when they release skills like tectonic slam while groundslam/earthquake still exist but they pretend don't.

I've used this one - You can use either blade flurry or MS depending on what skill you like. Ci build thats freeze/stun/ignite/shock proof and extremely tanky to...
If economy is not an issue for you, then it will all depend on what the league mechanic is and if you want to beta test, I mean play, it. For example, Delve league was awesome, Betrayal? Not so much.
I worked in a bread factory for 7 years, having access to truly fresh bread on demand spoils you. Don't kid yourself with stuff in the supermarket, even if you grab it right after the truck driver puts it on the shelf, its probably already 3 days old depending on the supply chain.
Its fine to freeze bread if you're going to toast/grill it IMO, but I'd never freeze bread that I'd be expecting to eat untoasted. French toast is another option for frozen bread.
