    For the last year and a half I took off from SC2. "The races are balanced against each other on certain types of maps" -> make all the maps this way. It's fine I guess but after 200 games, it gets a little stale.

    So island maps are bad design? :P I disagree. I think races being non viable on island maps is bad design! My favorite WC2 maps involved taking bases on other islands, or even better, raiding another island and taking it as your base after you wiped it out.

    Oh I definitely had my share of island maps in SC1 games that mattered. SC1 didn't give you a "free" natural every game. And all expansions didn't have both gas and minerals. Point stands! I blame "the vision".

    The order move then shift+deploy on siege tank is pretty lawls. It can still require some micro and there's better ways to position them... they just aren't the sc1 rape machines I loved. They are extremely prominent in terran v terran but I'm just not using them in other matchups.

    Look up builds for each race, watch YouTube vids of them. Practice builds on AI until you can regularly beat 'Harder' AI. Then queue up some unranked, watch your replays to see where you are floating money and where other races are at various points. Profit.

    Ancient App + CK is way meaner. Iirc the bonus from freezy touch (cast it before illusions) goes to minions but the attack slow does not. Couple that with magic damage buff from slow + double stun (you will get double stun unless you fail horribly at basic motor functions) = gg son.
