For bosses, it could be as simple as blowing up a regular mob with very little graphics changes (horns, different color eyes, color variant...), it doesn't have to be a fancy model, I think the basic pixel look is fine anyway so you don't want anything too convoluted or it'd look a bit out of place.

@Rajaah Alien Quadrilogy DVD set is what I have and yes it should have the Alien 3 Assembly Cut DVD. It also has the Aliens edition with deleted scenes which is just awesome, the movie is odd to watch now with the theatrical cut.
